After receiving the District 1st seed and first round bye, Brashear defeated Atlanta to reach the title game against La Plata. Both teams had runners in scoring position in the 1st inning, but the game remained scoreless until Brashear put up 3 runs in the 3rd and another in the 5th. La Plata rallied for 3 runs in the 6th, but Brashear held on to become district champions by a score of 4-3. Carson Erwin had 2 doubles for Brashear with Jack Reeves, Jake Holcomb, Cole Erwin, Clancy Noe, and Drew Magruder also having hits. Cole Erwin got the start going 5 strong innings striking out 12. Carson Erwin pitched in relief. Brashear will face Green City in Sectional play Monday night.
